- Drive incremental Brand Strategy and Consulting revenue as a key commercial leader-contributor to Kantar’s future growth. Bring strategic brand expertise to market by using thorough understanding of our unique Brand Strategy and Consulting offering and ability to build senior client relationships with key decision makers with the strategy, marketing, and insights within organizations.
What you'll be doing
- Work across the Kantar ecosystem to collaboratively strengthen and grow long-lasting client relationships that drive overall revenue goals for the team in NA.
- At any given time, you will be working on multiple projects across a range of clients and across our offerings.
- Your network will include key decision-makers such as Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Growth Officers, Heads of Marketing, Heads of Strategy, and Heads of Insights.
- You will be accountable for the Brand Strategy and Consulting revenue goals and have a personal revenue target. Together with your leadership team you will lead your sales pipeline, forecast revenues, and provide regular activity reports to management.
- You will partner with industry, client, and solution leads across Kantar to bring visibility around our consulting capabilities and contribute to Kantar thought leadership.
- We need a strategic, high-level performer in this role. A thinker and doer who can lead a highly motivated team of consultants and enjoys being both an entrepreneur and intrapreneur.
- Leads design and delivery of strategic brand strategy and consulting projects such as market structures, consumer & demand segmentations, brand valuations, brand portfolio strategy, brand architecture, brand purpose, organizational performance, etc.
- Cultivates Brand Strategy and Consulting community by championing consulting successes and recognizing achievements
- Leads Brand Strategy and Consulting pitches, both new pitches and renewals; accountable for solution architecture, design and costing for proposals
- Upgrades / enhances client deliverables and ensures delivery best practices
- Leads development of strategic, actionable recommendations for client’s business based on subject matter expertise and the findings from research/analysis
- Excels at thoughtful and creative implementation of custom research and analytics to solve B2B client brand strategy problems
- Partners with Kantar’s sales and strategic client teams to identify, design and sell brand solutions
- Embraces our culture, leads activities that help shape our culture (i.e., ERGs, trainings, social community)
- Builds and uses strong relationships across Kantar to facilitate cross pollination of knowledge and expertise
The skills & experience needed
- An upper mid-level management consultant (10+ years of consulting experience) who grew up in the space and is classically trained in the generic and transferable skills of management consulting and change management (from gap analysis to road mapping)
- Experience in leading management consulting/change management type of engagements regardless of subject area (growth strategy, brand audit, operating model development, marketing capability program)
- The ability and mentality to lead and/or collaborate with diverse teams of SMEs across the Kantar eco-system (Insights, Brand Strategy, Creative Performance, Qualitative research, Worldpanel) to scope, win, and deliver the highest quality and impactful work.
- Open to learning about the wider Kantar offer and being able to have meaningful client conversations around the Kantar perspectives on brand supported by our IP
- Having a strong context and willingness to learn about the space Kantar plays in:
- Marketing, strategy, insights, advertising, media, and creative performance
- Appreciation for research, data, and analytics and how they are used to inform and connect strategies to outcomes.
- A savvy commercial executive who enjoys winning great work through building meaningful client relationships
- You are confident but humble and can interact and engage appropriately with the highest-level clients, mid-level managers, and junior marketing or insights talent.

The salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $170,100 - $283,500. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
