About the job
This role is the Finance Business Partner for Kantar Malaysia, working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to strengthen financial performance and decision-making. You will connect financial insight with day-to-day operations, helping the business act with clarity and confidence.
You will focus on forecasting, performance management, and commercial decision support. By translating financial results into clear actions, you will encourage better outcomes across revenue, margin, and cash performance while building strong relationships across the market and shared services teams.
Job Goals
Partner with market leadership to improve financial performance and decision quality
Lead budget and reforecast cycles with strong accuracy and accountability
Strengthen forecasting discipline and align outlooks to pipeline activity
Translate financial performance into clear, actionable insight for the business
Support commercial decisions including pricing, proposals, and pipeline conversion
Improve revenue quality, billing accuracy, and cash collection outcomes
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and integrity of financial reporting
Work closely with finance colleagues across Southeast Asia and India, ensuring alignment across markets and contributing to a consistent, end-to-end finance approach.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Experience partnering with senior business leaders to shape decisions
Strong capability in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning tools (e.g. OneStream)
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, financial modelling, data analysis)
Ability to connect financial insights with commercial and operational drivers
Confidence influencing decisions through clear and practical communication
High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to financial discipline
Experience collaborating across markets and working effectively within a regional finance structure
Understanding of end-to-end finance processes and how different teams contribute to overall performance
