Role Description

As a Junior Data Analyst at Kantar Worldpanel, by applying industry-leading consumer information and advanced analytical techniques, you will help our customers address their toughest marketing-related issues and identify opportunities to grow.

You’ll be working with a team of like-minded analysts within our Lisbon hub, carrying out data modelling processes for projects sold by our Expert Solutions teams around the world. You’ll work with a variety of different analytical techniques, datasets, and brands to help answer a range of research and marketing questions.

Key Outcomes

  • Work with Kantar Worldpanel local commercial teams to deliver analytical outputs for projects which will help our clients (brand owners and retailers) to better understand their markets and consumers.
  • Apply a range of statistical techniques and modelling processes to transactional and attitudinal data to help answer our clients’ business questions.
  • Work on the development of new skills, new analytical approaches, and new ways of representing insight.
  • Support the continuous improvement of advanced analytical techniques.

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a mathematical/scientific field, preferably with a statistics' element.
  • A curious, analytical attitude and interest in consumer behaviour and brands.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Previous experience / knowledge in R programming language. Python, SQL, SAS are a plus.
  • Strong team-working and collaborative spirit.
