Finance Business Partners are an integral part of the Finance team, leading on the delivery of global, divisional and regional Finance objectives. This role will support the Operations and Irish business divisions at Worldpanel by Numerator International (formerly Worldpanel) business in UK & Ireland, to deliver results in line with the business strategy in collaboration with the wider Finance organisation. Reporting to the Finance Director for UK & Ireland, the role is responsible for ensuring the provision of robust financial reporting and analysis, planning and forecasts to the business and Group. Your ability to develop positive relationships with internal partners will be key to the role. You won’t just be “producing the numbers” but also communicating the key messages from the data for senior partners as we undergo a period of significant change and transformation.

What you will be doing in this role:
- Work closely with senior leaders across the business to provide financial insight and support decision making.
- Serve as a valuable business partner and key advisor in providing high quality insight, support and challenge to commercial decisions based on robust analysis.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Ownership of month end processes in collaboration with FP&A and Controlling teams, ensuring integrity and accuracy of business results.
- Monitor and report on financial performance for areas of responsibility, with explanations for variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers, and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Ensures business performance reports meet Business Unit needs and provide ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Challenges themselves and the wider Finance function to improve the capabilities of Finance through the identification of efficiencies and new ways of working.
The key experience and qualifications needed in this role:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- A consistent track record in a commercial finance role, with success across financial planning, forecasting and management reporting.
- Previous experience with Salesforce, NetSuite and OneStream would be desirable.
- Experience in a large global business, working with offshore finance hubs.

- Proven track record to apply finance knowledge to resolve business challenges, including the ability to distil and convey finance information to non-finance business leads.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) which enable you to form effective working relationships cross multi-functional teams and ability to concisely express complex issues.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced technology company environment.
- A great teammate with the ability to work optimally with employees at different levels of an organisation, both on and off shore.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, you will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions).
