
We're looking for a Client Development Manager to help grow our business in South East Asia. In this role, you’ll take the lead on some of our key client accounts; building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and making sure our work continues to add real value. You’ll also be focused on growing revenue, both through new clients and by expanding existing partnerships.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have the space to work independently but also collaborate with great people across the business. You’ll be the go-to for sales and client development. Leading proposals, pitching solutions, and making sure our research exceeds client expectations.
At its core, it’s about understanding what our clients need, and then bringing together the right people, ideas, and tools to make it happen.
Job Goals
- Be the main point of contact for all matters related to your accounts.
- Identify decision-makers and set up meetings for business discussions.
- Develop and execute sales plans.
- Manage the sales process, lead credentials pitches, and provide solutions to generate new business.
- Prepare cost estimates and write proposals.
- Sell Profiles services to research agencies, marketing/digital agencies, and enterprise clients.
- Develop and cultivate new and existing client relationships by understanding their business issues and recommending appropriate research-enabled solutions.
- Work with the Client Operations team to execute project specifications and deliver top-quality research results to clients.
- Communicate research findings and other data clearly and efficiently to diverse audiences.
- Generate incremental business within Singapore and SEA.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
- Experience in sales or client management, ideally in professional services like media, social media, market research, or digital.
- Confident working with pricing, budgets, and tailoring commercial proposals.
- Organised and able to effectively manage client administration, from client set up, updating the CRM, and client billing.
- Great communication skills, whether you’re writing a proposal or presenting to clients.
- A consistent record of hitting targets and managing accounts successfully.
- Comfortable with consultative selling, you know how to listen, ask the right questions, and tailor your pitch.
- A solid network of client contacts (or the know-how to build one).
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Creative thinking, you’re good at solving problems and spotting opportunities.
- A collaborative mindset, you like working with others but are confident driving things on your own.
