Main Responsibilities
Working Relationships

  • Internal – Research senior to mid management, research executive, supervisor or other departments relevant managers and staff

  • External – Contact person with key accounts and regular projects coordinator

Job Description

  • Independently design entire questionnaire/guide including new type of projects and discuss questionnaire with the client

  • Translate research objectives into questionnaire flow

  • Write complex research proposals based on instructions from supervisor

  • Provide advanced analysis and generate insightful and value-added findings and suggestions

  • Work out report flow with instruction from supervisor

  • Write error-free report with summary and recommendations based on instructions from supervisor

  • Deliver presentation of findings in both Chinese and English

  • Chair projects for at least 2 branded solutions independently

  • Demonstrate efficient and effective project management to ensure timely delivery at high quality standard

  • Control and save FLD costs

  • Build and maintain long term trusting relationship with client

  • Respond to client enquiries promptly and provide professional suggestions

  • Demonstrate strong ability in people management of Research Assistant or Research Executive

  • Allocate tasks among team effectively. Manage their performance and make appraisals on them

  • Coach junior researchers on research work and train them up well

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree from top university

  • 5-8 years experience in market research or related function in either agency side or client side

  • Excellent English and Mandarin skills both in written and oral

  • Excellent in MS-Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and SPSS, SAS statistics

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Have sound knowledge of overall market research technology and be able to apply to marketing / business practice and strategy

  • Be able to think logically and insightfully

  • Advanced analytical skills and be able to make value-added recommendations

  • Strong client service and account management ability

  • Strong project management skills

  • Good people management skills

  • A team player and be willing to work hard under high pressure and challenges in mature and professional manners
