As Business Development Senior Director, you will play a key role in accelerating Kantar's commercial growth across Belgium. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities, developing senior client relationships and expanding Kantar's presence across target markets and industries.

 

Working closely with regional leadership, client teams and solution experts, you will help organisations solve their most important business challenges through Kantar's industry-leading data, analytics and consulting capabilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with Kantar Belgium's growth ambitions (local & international)
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities across priority sectors and client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting, solution selling and consultative engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with client leadership and specialist teams to develop compelling commercial proposals.
  • Lead strategic sales conversations and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitive activity.
  • Manage and report on pipeline activity, forecasting and commercial performance metrics.
  • Represent Kantar at industry events, client meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Champion collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider commercial organisation.

The ideal skills and experience

  • Significant experience in business development, commercial leadership, sales or client growth roles within insights, data, analytics, consulting or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering new business growth and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong network and experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Excellent consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and convert them into sustainable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience leading complex commercial discussions, proposals and negotiations.
  • Data-driven approach to decision making and opportunity management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and results-focused approach.
