As a Job Accounting Specialist, you'll be part of the Kantar Business Services (KBS) Quote-to-Cash team, supporting revenue recognition and job accounting activities that help ensure financial accuracy, compliance and operational excellence across the business.

This is an opportunity to work closely with Finance Business Partners, Project Managers and global stakeholders, contributing to key accounting processes while helping drive continuous improvement across our finance operations.

What you'll be doing

• Support end-to-end job accounting activities across Kantar Business Services and outsourced finance teams.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and Project Managers to ensure compliance with processes that impact revenue recognition.
• Monitor and support timely and accurate job closure activities.
• Review and analyse journal entries resulting from job closures.
• Support year-end revenue recognition reviews and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 15 requirements.
• Manage and account for non-standard jobs, including associated revenue and direct cost recognition activities.
• Provide guidance on job accounting matters, including revenue recognition, direct cost recognition and supporting documentation requirements.
• Analyse proposed revenue recognition adjustments and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Support reviews of accrued and deferred revenue balances, helping drive timely resolution of issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and supporting finance enquiries.
• Contribute to finance transformation, continuous improvement and other special projects, including mergers and acquisitions activities where required.

The ideal skills and experience

We're looking for someone who combines strong accounting knowledge with a collaborative approach and attention to detail.

You'll likely have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in an accounting, finance or similar role.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting processes.
• Understanding of cost allocation and project-based accounting methodologies.
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and finance workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
