Business Development Manager

Manila, Philippines

As Business Development Manager within the Insights division, you will demonstrate your extensive commercial experience both in winning new business and growing relationships for key identified clients,  across potential emerging sectors, helping those clients apply market research and marketing consulting to their strategic advantage. 

Role Description

  • Responsible for driving business growth within Kantar Insights Philippines
  • Build and manage a client prospect database
  • Tasked to develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and be responsible for growth projects experienced in client
  • Engagement, making sales presentations and running sales generating events
  • Manages sales projections and forecasting revenue
  • Market research background and familiarity with kantar tools a plus

  • Possess a commercial mind set / business orientation along with gravitas, and relationship-building skills needed to build rapport and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships; influence and encourage others; critical thinking; effective presentation skills and organizational agility.
  • Capacity to collaborate optimally with dispersed and multi-party teams & working within a matrix structure to harness capabilities of the team and craft a winning proposal/solution
  • Proven ability to identify, build and secure strategic and profitable business relationships.
  • Ability to interface directly with clients with good presentation skills and ability to command a presence with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency selling technology, market research solutions or marketing technology across various client verticals and within one or more of our domain areas of expertise.
  • A desire to win.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, true self-starter mentality.
  • Strategic-thinker who systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible customer difficulties, expectations and implicit needs. Brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve sophisticated deal challenges.
  • Able to tailor communication to the customers need with authority and effectively delivers presentations
  • Current client networking relationships/rolodex of contacts.
  • Ability to identify the right customer stakeholders and builds rapport/establishes credibility to build consensus for deals
