Associate Director – Innovation Domain Delivery Lead

The role is part of the Innovation solution area specializing in research that guides brands in all phases of their NPD (New Product Development) process, from Targeting & Positioning, Ideation to Concept, Product, Pack, Pricing, and Bundle testing. Role offers exciting opportunities to be a known authority in this space, addressing client’s Innovation challenges through research to aid their offer optimization, portfolio management, and other elements of Innovation. It offers an opportunity to engage with some of the biggest brands in Indonesia and become advisors to their strategy. The role promises to accelerate one’s learning curve through intellectually challenging work in a high growth market like Indonesia.

Key Outcomes
- Account Management – Independently build & manage relationships with existing & new clients to gain their trust as an authority in Innovation and maintain existing business / grow new business.
- Analysis and Research Expertise – Design and implement appropriate research solutions in proposals and projects to answer clients’ business objectives.
- High Quality Deliverables – Take personal responsibility to ensure that the team provide deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations in terms of timelines, quality, and budget.
- People Management – Lead, run, and develop a high performing and engaged team of 6-9 team members with 3-4 direct line reports.
- Commercial Management – Proficient in Innovation project commercial management (costs, margins), identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue and profitability for the Solution area.
- Kantar & Personal Branding – Drive Kantar and personal reputation by becoming a leading voice in the market on Innovation through thought leadership.
Capabilities
- A trusted advisor to clients – a good listener and inventive problem-solver.
- Possess (or have strong desire to develop) deep knowledge of Innovation research methods, analyses, and solutions
- Familiar with Concept, Product, Pack, and Pricing test research designs and analysis methods
- Experience in working closely with cross-functional teams including Operations team and senior management.
- Sound leadership experience with people management capabilities – to empower, mentor, and be the role model and encouraged juniors.
- With at least 10 years market research or marketing business experience, with four years in a mid-senior management position.
- Nice to have: experience and knowledge of Conjoint studies, multivariate statistical analysis such as regression, factor analysis.
