Role Description
Excitingly Kantar Media has partnered with the MMS to build a new Cross-Media Measurement panel in Sweden, that will be one of the first of its kind in the world. We are looking for forward-thinking, diverse, and client-focused individuals to join our team and make this audience measurement panel a success for MMS and Kantar Media.
The Seated technician position is central to the deployment and maintenance of the Swedish panel, setting up the service and Installations Execs for success by ensuring that the equipment which is needed for installation or maintenance calls has been dispatched to the panellist home with the correct software and configuration installed.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support panellists over the phone (“call 4”), making sure meters work optimally
- Test panellist hardware, install appropriate software/firmware and configure, prior to dispatch.
- Process and dispatch all panel stock orders and requests; process and capture all stock returns.
- Accurately log and report all stock lines and carry out full stock checks and inventory audits at regular intervals.
- Plan, Order, quality check/Control and account for all stock deliveries
- Ensure hardware is stored in safe conditions.
- Accurately log and report all distribution activity and details of equipment in panel member homes.
- Maintain all Stock levels on the stock system, updating when deliveries arrive, and when stock is returned by panellists.
- Examine returned equipment for condition and prepare for redeployment.
- Log SIM card numbers against metering to aid tracking, preventing misuse of the cards.
- Provide knowledge support on stock lines.
- Liaise with delivery/logistics companies to improve and report on issues such as late deliveries, chase refunds and charges on failed or missed deliveries.
Required:
- Technical skills – A basic understanding of the tablet technology, and how software is deployed and upgraded is useful, though full training will be provided.
- Collaboration - Can demonstrate the ability to collaborate (communicate/partner/execute) with other divisions/functions.
- Problem Solving - Has a proven ability to solve basic problems using sound judgment.
- Customer Service - Able to gain a full understanding of users’ wants and needs by seeking or confirming information and opinions when establishing relations and throughout the relationship.
- Manage - Manages stakeholder expectations to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded; in line with the restrictions imposed by Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to prioritise and complete daily tasks in line with business requirements.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)
- A keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent Swedish and English essential.
