About the job

As a Trainee Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver innovative and high-quality applications that support our global customer base. This role is essential to ensuring the stability, adaptability, and security of our platform while driving its evolution with new features and products. Your contributions will help shape the tools and technologies that better connect brands with people worldwide!

In this position, you will collaborate with a dynamic team, contributing to software development projects that enhance our platform's capabilities. You will take part in breaking down feature requests into manageable tasks, ensuring effective planning and execution. Working within a supportive environment, you’ll gain hands-on mentorship from experienced colleagues and become an integral part of a team committed to collective success.

Job Goals

  • Contribute to the development of scalable and reliable software applications to enhance the platform's functionality.

  • Participate actively in sprint planning, team discussions, and code reviews to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Learn and apply best practices in coding and software design to produce maintainable and efficient code.

  • Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to deliver features that meet customer needs.

  • Engage in troubleshooting and debugging tasks to ensure the stability and security of the platform.

  • Develop technical skills and industry knowledge through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience.

  • Adopt Agile methodologies to foster transparency and teamwork within the development process.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

  • Proficiency in programming concepts and object-oriented principles, with hands-on knowledge of developing and maintaining backend applications using technologies like Microsoft .NET and C#.

  • Experience with front-end development tools and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.

  • Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), and familiarity with container-based development such as Docker.

  • Basic knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL options like Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and CosmosDB.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and an interest in modern architectures such as Microservices is a strong plus.
