Role Overview
The Cloud and Hosting Product Manager leads the cloud platform to meet business and customer needs. This role coordinates product strategy, collaborates with team members to shape the roadmap, and works with partners and vendors to deliver and improve the cloud platform.
Role Description
The Cloud and Hosting Product Manager will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for Kantar’s cloud implementation and the management of non-cloud assets. They will work closely with collaborators to understand business needs, manage the product roadmap, and prioritize features to align with business objectives. Additionally, they will manage vendor relationships, including selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Cloud Platform:
Provide strategic oversight and direction for the Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
Lead initiatives around Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC), setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor performance of service providers, as well as the Cloud and Hosting products.
Analyse and report spend and recommend and drive optimization opportunities across the organization.
Cloud Governance:
Establish a functional governance program to implement required policies and coordinate remediation projects for legacy infrastructure.
Provide strategic solutions for technical governance (pre and post-deployment) within Microsoft Azure.
Hosting:
Collaborate with technical teams across the organization to standardize deployment, build, install, and manage processes, and drive automation initiatives for both cloud and on-prem resources.
Engage collaborators and work with external partners to facilitate the migration of remaining on-prem applications to the cloud.
Role Requirements & Capabilities
In-depth understanding and experience with Microsoft Azure.
Previous experience in a senior leadership role, working with all levels of technical staff and executives.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple collaborators across a large-scale organization.
Experience in managing product lifecycles, collaborating with customers, and planning for success.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
