Role Overview
We are seeking a technically fluent Product Owner to lead the Kantar Media Panel Member App (PMA) - a global, mobile‑first platform (iOS/Android) that unifies panelist onboarding, engagement, compliance, tutorials, technician support, and incentives. You will own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and interact with the team to ensure market-specifics and uptime targets are met and the app functions well within the broader Digital Panel Management ecosystem (CRM, Logistics, Telephony, QC/data processing).
In addition to the PMA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and integrating exciting new tooling - including CRM (panelist tracking and interaction), Logistics (remote install enablement), and Telephony (contact-centre workflows and call tracking) - to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience for panelists and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Roadmap: Define the overall product strategy and vision for the PMA and its with new platforms (CRM, Logistics, Telephony). Develop a clear roadmap that delivers on business goals such as reducing churn, increasing compliance, enabling self-service, and improving operational efficiency.
Product Ownership: Own the product backlog, write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize features for maximum impact. Partner with engineering, QA, and operations to deliver testable, high-quality increments.
Global Rollout: Manage multi-wave rollout plans for the app and new tooling, starting with pilot markets and expanding globally. Oversee market readiness, localization, training, and adoption plans, ensuring successful launches and ongoing support.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, national markets, operations, IT, and cross-functional squads. Gather requirements, manage feedback, and ensure alignment with global priorities and local needs.
Journey Design: Translate future-state journeys (onboarding, installation, ongoing management, off-boarding) into actionable product features and process changes across the app and new platforms. Ensure seamless experiences and operational workflows.
Quality & Compliance: Embed quality control rules, consent flows, and incentives into the app. Ensure compliance and data integrity across all user interactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, incentives, operations, and market teams to balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural health.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Define and track KPIs for adoption, engagement, and operational impact. Use data and feedback to iterate and improve the product.
Requirements
Educational Background
Degree in Business, Technology, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Agile Product Owner or Scrum certifications preferred
Professional Experience
5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally with experience in mobile app delivery and multi-market rollouts
Proven track record in managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and leading UAT and hypercare cycles
Experience working with behavioral science, incentives, and engagement loops
Experience delivering multi-platform products (CRM, contact-center/telephony, logistics or field-service) with complex integrations
Skills & Competencies
Strong Agile and Scrum practices
Ability to translate operational and behavioral goals into product features
Analytical mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfort with technical concepts (mobile app behaviors, API contracts, backend integrations)
Experience in fast-paced, iterative environments
Nice to Have
Experience with feature-flag release models and multi-market configuration
Background in panel management, data collection, or audience measurement
Experience in DevOps-driven teams with a “build it, run it” mindset
