OVERVIEW
As part of our investment into Technology, Operations and Product, Kantar is looking to recruit a Product Manager to own all aspects of definition & delivery our digital product strategy for HR services. Kantar has a major technology programme underway and we are investing heavily in transforming our ways of working including investing in robotics, AI and the automation of all our end-to-end process, whilst moving to build a more product orientated business. This is an exciting time to join Kantar on this journey and play a pivotal role in leading innovative and impactful solutions for our clients.
As part of Kantar’s Technology Division, this role will be accountable for all technology design, deliver and operate across the collaboration elements of the Digital HR product solution set. Leading a team of inhouse Product Owners and significant outsourced support and engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full accountability for delivery of the right combination of products, at the right time, at the best cost and helping colleagues using the services make the right choices for Digital HR services, including:
- Define the product vision and strategy.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Prioritise features based on customer and business needs.
- Provide clear, concise, and prioritized product backlog to the Product Owner.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure well-defined user stories.
- Ensure alignment between the Kantar team and business goals.
- Continuously monitor and analyse product performance, gathering user feedback and data.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap (including 3, 6 & 9 month views via PI Roadmaps).
- Attend sprint reviews to provide feedback and validate that the product increment aligns with the vision.
- Make decisions on scope and prioritize work during development.
- Adapt to changing market conditions and adjust the product strategy accordingly.
- Financial responsibility for associated RU costs
- Accountability, ownership and action plan where Product or Service has impact on Tech & Cyber Risk position
- Ensure Kantar Group has an accurate, up-to-date understanding of HR related platforms, how that underpins and drives business applications, and where technical debt, capability gaps etc. exist
- Contribute to a wider Technology Risk agenda with accountability for HR related components
- Responsible for defining our to-be service in the Digital HR space and working with our strategic outsource provider in an Agile way to design and deliver those products and services across multiple domains including, but not limited to:
- Workday as a platform
- Talent Acquisition
- Talent Development & Learning
- Benefits, Bonuses and Compensation
- Payroll
- Time and Attendance
- Employee Engagement
- Drive adoption and evolution of all these products through Business Change, colleague communications, training and knowledge management
- Improve service for all Kantar IT products used internally through promotion of the use of colleague self-help, proactive fixing and automation
- Service design, reporting, assurance and governance for Digital HR Compensation products
- Service Reviews with lines of business
- Operational Reviews with 3rd party managed services
- Voice of the customer collating continuous feedback of requirements into the Agile engineering lifecycle for all Digital HR Compensation products.
- Define and continuously improve ways of working, liaising closely with colleagues across technology and the wider business
- Form a key part of the Kantar extended technology leadership team, working closely with the rest of Group Technology and EDS peers to help move the function forward and ensure close alignment of activities
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Lead a team of Digital HR specialists, product owners and subject matter experts to ensure a great colleague experience
- Strategic management of the Digital HR domain with our outsource partner to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture strategy and assure the appropriate quality and cost of the service

As part of the wider Technology leadership team, the person will need be able to navigate a complex, relationship driven, environment that is undergoing a period of transformation. The person will need to manage uncertainty and constant change/uncertainty until the structure of the standalone Kantar business is fully established.
