You started as a graduate and have now been here for six years – what has that been like?
I joined the company in 2016, working for Digital Research Centre in Warsaw, Poland. My first role was strictly connected with end-to-end projects management in the field of digital marketing. In 2018, I was promoted from Senior Research Executive to Team Manager role – my responsibilities changed as I had to coordinate the team of up to 12 project managers, assuring sustainable and efficient workflow. Additionally, I worked on implementing several new solutions & research methodologies that could possibly widen our portfolio.
Very recently, I changed my field from Operations into Client Service (Insights Media Domain) - I’m still engaged in digital research studies, but from a client-oriented perspective.
Why did you decide to work in consumer research and insights? Why is it exiting?
What I find exciting is the wide range of solutions we are able to propose to Clients to perfectly meet their needs. I really enjoy all the brainstorming and ideas sharing that we manage internally within the team – and then putting them in practice, observing how they work and how they actually improve research methods. It’s fun and exciting to go out of the box and create something new!
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about joining at Kantar?
Don’t hesitate! Kantar can be a great place to learn new things and develop career. And most importantly – friendly and inclusive atmosphere with a respect for work-life-balance is granted.
For me, I joined Kantar right after graduating. Pretty quickly, it was clear that here I am able to develop my project management skills. Another value was, of course, working in the exciting field of digital marketing, which is still quite fresh and surprising. But most importantly, Kantar is a company where I can feel safe and respected.
What would surprise people about your role?
I think people would be surprised if they knew how many new things I can learn at my position. Almost every day I can explore some new exciting areas, solutions, or tools; each project and each client is completely different from the others. Fortunately, there’s no boring repeatability at all.
What would you do if you didn’t do this?
Probably I’d be a teacher or entrepreneur. Or movie director!
