Role Purpose
The Technology Separation SMO will support the planning, coordination, and execution of all technology workstreams within the Kantar Media carve-out programme. Working closely with the Separation Director, IT Separation Director, and Kantar Media CIO, this role ensures that Technology separation tasks and Technology TSA exits are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business continuity needs.
Key Responsibilities
Separation Delivery Support
Track, coordinate, and report on Technology separation activities across infrastructure, applications, and data.
Maintain separation project plans, status dashboards, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
Support the execution of system migrations, data transfers, and environment stand-ups.
Ensure adherence to programme timelines and escalate blockers to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the operational link between business teams, IT workstreams, vendors, and programme leadership.
Facilitate workshops, working groups, and status meetings to align teams on deliverables.
Support communication of technical separation progress to non-technical stakeholders.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure activities comply with security, privacy (e.g., GDPR), and contractual obligations.
Assist in tracking Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) service levels and exit plans.
Maintain accurate documentation to support audit, handover, and post-separation review.
Vendor & Contract Transition Support
Help coordinate vendor communications, contract novations, and onboarding of new suppliers.
Track dependencies on third-party services to ensure no operational disruption.
Post-Separation Support
Experience & Qualifications
Experience supporting technology separation, IT migration, or large-scale transformation programmes.
Strong organisational skills with experience in project coordination or PMO roles.
Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, and application landscapes.
Good understanding of data transfer, infrastructure, and system cutover processes.
Exposure to Transitional Service Agreements (TSA) and vendor transitions beneficial.

Education
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
Project management training (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) advantageous.
