We are seeking a Data Scientist to join the Ad Intel transformation team, focusing on AI-driven solutions for TV content segmentation and classification. In this role, you will build and optimize machine-learning pipelines that analyze TV content - including segmenting programs, detecting events, classifying scenes, and extracting insights using state-of-the-art AI. You will work with frontier GenAI models and develop custom models when required to address unique media-industry challenges. This position requires someone who can turn data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intelligence & ML Development: Build and optimize machine-learning models and pipelines for video segmentation, classification, and semantic understanding.
  • GenAI and Frontier Model Integration: Evaluate, fine-tune, and apply multimodal GenAI and frontier video models to extract insights and automate metadata generation.
  • Data Engineering & MLOps: Develop scalable data pipelines and collaborate on deploying, monitoring, and optimizing video-focused ML models in production
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external product and engineering teams to define requirements, deliver insights, and communicate model performance effectively.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data science with a passion for innovation in media analytics. They are skilled in applying statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data engineering practices to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights.
  • They thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and are eager to stay current with emerging tools and techniques to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles, preferably within media, technology, or data-driven environments.
  • Experience working with frontier AI models (e.g., GPT-5.1, Gemini 3) and their application in video or multimodal analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with video, audio, or multimodal data processing.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, agile product development teams (e.g., using Scrum or SAFE) as well as familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is desirable.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong competence in Python including common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow) as well as multimodal data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, FFmpeg).
  • Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures, and model optimization.
  • Knowledge of TV/media data structures and familiarity with video/audio feature extraction is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced/fluent English.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a groundbreaking initiative transforming TV monitoring through AI.
  • Work with a collaborative team of experts in data science, technology, and media operations.
  • Opportunity to innovate and shape the future of advertising intelligence at scale
