Role's Mission

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to drive the growth and capability of our Client Service teams at Worldpanel across Africa and the Middle East. This role will focus on advancing analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and client management skills through tailored learning solutions and hands-on coaching.

Sitting within the AME Knowledge department, this role plays a key part in our mission: to empower our client service teams through continuous learning, strategic support, and integrated regional insight. Our goal is to build a growth mindset, elevate capabilities, and foster collaboration to drive exceptional client success.

As a key regional role, this position offers the opportunity to shape how learning happens across diverse, client-facing teams. You’ll be part of a collaborative, insight-driven culture where your ideas are valued, and have the chance to work with global L&D teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Knowledge Director to design and implement tailored learning plans that address specific skill needs across AME markets.
  • Collaborate with local market leads and team managers to deliver targeted training programmes focused on data analysis, actionable storytelling, client management and commercial effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and localise internal global learning initiatives to ensure relevance and impact within the AME context.
  • Use a variety of learning methods, including blended learning, microlearning, just-in-time resources, coaching, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Leverage internal platforms to deliver, track, and enhance learning engagement.
  • Manage the regional new joiner induction programme, ensuring new client service team members are set up for success within their first 90 days.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and mentoring to support skill development, with a focus on early-career team members.

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…

  • Significant experience in market research, insights, or communications, with a strong track record of designing and/or delivering impactful learning experiences.
  • Deep knowledge of Worldpanel data, platforms (WPO, PowerView), and their commercial application.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and deliver engaging content.
  • Strong coaching and feedback skills; confident supporting junior talent development.
  • Expertise in digital learning strategies, including video, on-demand learning, virtual learning experiences and the use of AI tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver with clarity.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and influencing across a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Comfortable working across diverse geographies, with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrates strong cultural awareness and experience of working in a regional and environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required
