Project Management- Executive

Role Description

The role incumbent, as an individual contributor assigned to a specific geography, is responsible to plan, commission and supervise activities to ensure the successful completion of assigned primary market research projects.  He/she/They have to be the bridge across all project EW and suppliers, manage project schedule, ensure delivery while supervising financial parameters.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand the Client domain, the product (Kantar viz. cross-media, Brand, Creative etc.), the project and the job-specs
  • Understand end-to-end project life cycle
  • Ensure delivery of a complete project to the geography from inception to completion. with minimal mentorship
  • Proactively list all the relevant internal and external information that will be required for the project design/setup and alert local account team to these needs
  • Source quotes from external suppliers, where appropriate, always ensuring that the best cost and timing has been given and work with the client service team for all vital approvals
  • Commission all internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce the project plan and relevant timelines. Ensure that all stakeholders have access/are notified of timelines
  • Co-ordinate with Kantar Profiles teams for Fieldwork management
  • Coordinate with the production teams and clients (CS/in-market team for flawless project execution
  • Implement project plans to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outcomes in alignment with the agreed design, timeline, and budget
  • Accountable for quality control throughout the entire project, from inputs to results (in questionnaires, scripts,) code frames, , meeting specifications
  • Responsible for script checking, including translated scripts, before sharing with the client
  • Independently manage client communication. Establish a primary point of contact with stakeholders and nurture relationships
  • Proactively foster positiver relationships between Client Service, local teams, and technical teams
  • Lead or participate in kick-off meetings, review meetings, regular status calls, and consistently provide project status updates, address queries, and offer support and mentorship to all relevant teams
  • Log and detail all feedback, accurately by the set deadline, adhering to process protocols and conventions.
  • Supervise and ensure adherence to project scope as per SoW
  • Advise all collaborators of project status especially with respect to scope, time and cost (estimated vs actual), along with  progress
  • Troubleshoot and resolve queries from various collaborators while supporting Project lead for root cause analysis (RCA) and action steps.
  • Deliver to defined performance metrics and proficiencies
  • Comply with defined processes and guidelines as per ISO manual
  • Interact with Stakeholders  across functions within the cluster / country team
  • Adhere to defined work practices viz. Time Sheets, work status, responsiveness to queries, critical issue to line manager
  • Successful completion & certification on internal skill level trainings; SUP  Intermediate Topics within specified timelines
  • Any other task as provided by the Manager or the organization at any time.

Technical skills and Knowledge

  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite  is crucial
  • Knowledge of principles of Project Management and Project Management Tools
  • Knowledge about all Kantar products
  • Knowledge about Questionnaire build and flow
  • Knowledge of Escalation Matrix within the Centers and also with in-market / CS teams
