About the job

As Controller for Morocco and France, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of reporting across both markets. You will support a controls environment, coordinate tax compliance, and deliver timely information aligned with internal and external requirements.

You will work closely with regional and global Finance teams, contributing to operational improvements and provide clarity that supports decision‑making.

You will play a role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the remote team in India with a focus on producing accurate and timely management information, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations and liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies.

What you will be doing?

  • Deliver month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities.
  • Maintain a high‑quality controls environment and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Be responsible for statutory, tax, and VAT submissions in partnership with local advisors.
  • Collaborate with global and regional Finance teams on process and systems improvements.
  • Provide insights to Finance leadership.
  • Partner with processing teams to ensure efficient workflow execution.

The skills and capabilities we are looking for

  • Qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), with experience applying financial rigor and control frameworks in fast‑paced, change‑heavy environments such as tech‑enabled transformation programmes or private‑equity‑backed organisations.
  • Business proficiency in French and English.
  • Strong understanding of local GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to navigate the nuances of multi-jurisdictional reporting (Morocco and France); US GAAP exposure remains highly helpful, especially given the cross-market nature of the role.
  • Hands-on experience with finance systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, ADP or OneStream, ideally gained in organisations undergoing digital enablement, platform migration, or systems consolidation.
  • Proven capability in transformation environments—comfortable working through ambiguity, evolving processes, and driving operational improvements.
  • Confident and adaptable communicator able to translate complex financial information into simple, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders—including non‑finance colleagues across multiple international markets.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance contending priorities, navigate matrixed global environments, and maintain high standards during periods of rapid change or scaling.
  • Track record of collaboration across borders, establishing relationships with finance and non‑finance teams in other regions to ensure consistency, alignment, and timely delivery of initiatives.
