About the job

As Principal Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Kantar’s transformation journey, overseeing the delivery of multi-million-dollar change portfolios across Cyber Security and Risk Management. By driving organisational agility and ensuring high-quality outcomes, you will enable impactful change aligned with strategic objectives. Your leadership will directly influence the success of complex programmes and projects, fostering innovation and resilience across the organisation!

Collaborating closely with the Group Technology CTO, divisional leads, and Domain Delivery teams, you will ensure seamless integration within a matrixed portfolio. Your efforts will support the adoption of new ways of working, enhance delivery capabilities, and sustain a high-performing delivery organisation. This role is vital to achieving Kantar’s goals as a world leader in data, insights, and consulting!

Job Goals

  • Drive the successful execution of multi-million-dollar change portfolios across Cyber Security and Risk Management, ensuring alignment with Kantar’s strategic objectives.

  • Establish and implement effective frameworks for enhancing organisational agility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and introducing new ways of working.

  • Collaborate with the Group Technology CTO, divisional leads, and Domain Delivery teams to streamline integration within a matrixed portfolio and address dependencies effectively.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks while overseeing divisional budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with shifting portfolio priorities.

  • Create and track success metrics for delivery teams, providing coaching and support to drive performance improvement and achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Promote thought leadership within the organisation by connecting internal and external communities, showcasing Kantar as a modern, agile employer in the market.

  • Facilitate the adoption of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring their effective application across complex stakeholder groups and delivery teams.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

  • Proven expertise in both Waterfall and Agile frameworks: Certifications such as SAFe (e.g., SPC), Lean Six Sigma, Prince 2, PMP, or ADKAR Change Management are essential to driving organisational agility and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strategic portfolio management: Demonstrated ability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions within a global enterprise environment, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and priorities.

  • Risk and resource management: Knowledge of frameworks like Management of Portfolio (MoP) and a track record of identifying, managing, and mitigating risks effectively while adapting resources to dynamic portfolio demands.

  • Leadership and coaching skills: Strong capabilities in mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and promoting servant leadership practices, especially in environments facing change and uncertainty.

  • Expertise in scaling Agile methodologies: Familiarity with additional frameworks like LeSS, Scrum@Scale, or Nexus is valuable for managing complex stakeholder groups and delivery teams effectively.

Please be aware, the majority of our roles are hybrid, working three days a week in our office.
