What you’ll be doing
- Delivering clear, actionable legal advice on contracting practices and various legal topics and laws to internal clients with proven ability to influence through persuasion at all levels
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating client, supplier, and partnership agreements in an international context
- Critical thinking and problem solving by providing pragmatic, actionable, outcome-based, and customer-centric advice to business leaders
- You will have a broad base of expertise including commercial agreements, professional services, intellectual property, technology and licensing dispute resolution which is applied to contract templates, negotiated contracts and compliance, with an interest in developing expertise in data protection and Artificial Intelligence (AI) laws to guide business clients
- Driving continuous improvement, developing guidelines, training, and legal knowledge resources
The skills & experience needed as Legal Counsel - Commercial
- A completed law degree (or equivalent legal background) from an accredited European university, and admission to a European legal bar association
- Excellent English language skills (additional European languages desirable)
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability, with a customer-centric approach
- Experience in commercial agreements, professional services, intellectual property, technology, licensing, and dispute resolution
- Interest in market and data analytics, and emerging technologies including AI
- Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to adopt new tech tools (including Microsoft Co-Pilot)
- A collaborative, ethical, and growth-oriented mindset
