Job Description 

As Senior Consultant you will create and improve solutions, going beyond the "What" to the "So What," and putting clients' needs first. With proven strong business and marketing acumen and limited guidance, you will produce high-quality work on briefed project sections and communicate effectively with clients about the work done. You will also start to lead a workstream or part of a project and guide junior colleagues. 

In your day-to-day role, you will conduct analysis, design and analyse models and methodologies, translate data into strategy, and communicate with clients.

You will develop strategic recommendations, prepare client workshops, and enhance your expertise in our consulting solutions. Additionally, you will improve your project management skills through excellent organization and time management and multitask effectively. You will also start coaching and developing team members, sharing your knowledge and skills to contribute to the growth of the team. 

Competencies 

Senior Consultants are expected to demonstrate the following competencies according to the Kantar Success Factors Framework: 

  • Leads with Impact: Leads a briefing session and asks good questions. Reports issues, role clarity or time limits early and suggests solutions.  

  • Solves Problems Decisively: Utilizes key solutions with some senior assistance. Addresses complex problems by understanding the client's questions, formulating hypotheses, and conducting structured analysis. Develops the strategic narrative and enhances solutions through team collaboration - not just the "nice to know" but the "so-what" for clients. 

  • Contextualises Meaningful Data: Enjoys working with numerical outputs and understands the client's reality based on document reviews and stakeholder interviews. Explains how the analysis findings affect the client. Can find, interpret and combine findings across different Kantar data types for a bigger client question. 

  • Guides Business Action: Engages with clients to interact and get their agreement. Begins to show their ability to run workshops and discussions that help client decision-making and deliver engaging and compelling client presentations for an executive-level audience. 

  • Owns Commercial Success: Efficiently runs projects end to end with full accountability for quality with some senior support, tracks performance against KPIs, proactively flags issues, suggests improvements, and becomes the go-to person for clients. Can have an informed client discussion, probing out what's on the client's mind and converging it towards a solvable issue / task. Contributes to proposals, budget and approach development building strong client relationships through effective day-to-day client management. 

  • Connects to Win: Independently engages in one-on-one conversations with a network of experts beyond the consulting team to grasp key insights from their expertise that can be applied to the project. Is proficient in utilizing the main Kantar Data platforms as input in developing client solutions.  

  • Builds Great Teams: With strong work ethic fosters an inclusive and supportive atmosphere within projects, promoting open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect among team members. Guides team members towards growth objectives and navigates challenging development discussions openly and fairly, fostering team and business success. Act as a culture carrier, creating positive experiences and memories that create our shared story. 

  • Drives Lasting Change: Makes meaningful contributions to the practice areas by creating insightful content and proposing innovative and more efficient ways of working. Supports the development of thought leadership initiatives to land innovative solutions including proposal development. 

Requirements 

  • 4-6 years of experience working for or with a global brand in brand marketing or experience in growth/brand consulting or other relevant professional services is required. 

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
