Role Description

The role incumbent, as an individual contributor in a Project Team assigned to a specific geography, is focused on delivery in Data Processing or Scripting. He/she/they is/are responsible for programming the various utilities/scripts using platforms/tools of Kantar, to collect, analyze, and visualize data. He/she/ they execute, support and document all assigned projects

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand the Client domain, the product (Kantar viz. cross-media, Brand, Creative etc.), the project and the job-specs
  • Understand end-to-end project life cycle
  • Execute programming tasks/projects using standard Kantar software/technology platforms as per agreed parameters
  • Responsible for execution and delivery ensuring required levels of accuracy and as per agreed timelines
  • Update line manager/ project manager, at agreed frequency, especially with risk to scope, time or cost.
  • Deliver to defined performance metrics and competencies
  • Comply with defined processes, checklists, and guidelines as per ISO manual
  • Interact with Stakeholders  across functions within the cluster / country team
  • Adhere to defined work practices viz. Time Sheets, work status, responsiveness to queries, escalation to line manager / PM
  • Successful completion & certification on internal skill level trainings; SUP  Intermediate Topics  within specified timelines
  • Any other task as provided by the Manager or the organization at any time.

Technical skills and Knowledge

  • Proficiency in programming principles/concepts is essential
  • Proficiency – by the end of the Entry Level Training – in Quantum/SPSS/Unicom (Dimension)/Nfield platforms is essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite is essential
  • Exposure to SPSS or other statistical software is an advantage
  • Awareness of SQL and relational databases, Python, R, Power BI is an advantage
  • Understanding of MR Industry and different phases of an MR project
  • Should be able to handle Level 2 jobs independently post completion of training period, with minimal guidance
  • Good understanding of concepts like Weighting/ N2D
