About the role

We’re looking for a Client Pricing / Costing Manager to join our team in Prague and play a key role in how we cost and price our research work.

This role sits at the heart of the commercial process: working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Procurement to build accurate, transparent and commercially sound pricing proposals for our clients. Your focus will be on costing and pricing excellence, ensuring that assumptions are clear, costs are robust, and pricing decisions support sustainable growth. The role plays a critical part in supporting sustainable revenue growth by following clear pricing frameworks, governance, and ways of working across the business.

General responsibilities

  • Work closely with commercial teams, procurement and function leads (Survey Programming and Data Processing) to enable high‑quality pricing decisions

  • Support business in deriving complex or high‑risk pricing proposals

  • Act as a central point of contact for pricing‑related queries and escalations

  • Build pricing capability across the organisation through guidance, training, and clear documentation

  • Support change initiatives related to pricing transformation, including new tools, processes, or operating models

  • Embed a culture of costing discipline, commercial awareness, and accountability

  • Measure and track the impact of pricing improvements on efficiency, margin, and quality

Specific Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Client’s requirements and ensuring the costing includes all the necessary sample design and delivery details

  • Conduct project feasibility assessments

  • Work with vendors/panel-partners, Globality, buy-desk and other tools to ensure the best pricing

  • Understand sample and blend requirements

  • Prepare accurate and timely pricing proposals for Clients

  • Communicate effectively with teams in order to prepare accurate costs for proposals – this includes Sales / Client Success / Function leads and Procurement where applicable

  • Follow up with Clients to ensure that proposals are in line with Client expectations

  • Attend formal Client briefings and provide input into internal project launch meetings

  • Client onboarding if this is a new Client

  • Maintain pricing frameworks, principles, and guardrails to ensure consistency and commercial integrity across the organisation

  • Establish clear pricing governance, including approval routes, escalation thresholds, and exception management

  • Ensure pricing approaches align with overall commercial strategy, margin objectives, and risk appetite
